Hello there!

I first want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to explore this new outlet I’ve created in the effort to pursue the activities that bring me closer to my highest good. I hope to spark inspiration in not only myself as I document my ideas and findings but also in you, the reader.

I’m a nutritionist and I truly believe that a major contributor to a healthy mind, body, and spirit is the incorporation of nutrient dense, antioxidant rich plant-based foods. As somebody who has struggled with my weight, body image, and self image for most of my life, I am dedicated to finding balance between the enjoyment of food and all it entails with the pursuit of health and happiness. I believe that food in all its’ complexity and variation is one of the greatest gifts of life, and should be revered as such. Not as something to avoid or spark shame, but to instead be harnessed as a tool to reach our peak levels of vitality in the most satisfying way possible.

For the first time in my life I am truly aware of my purpose in this world: to inspire others to live passionate, healthy lives with the utmost sense of love and compassion for themselves and the planet.

I’ve wholeheartedly decided to pursue a life of complete freedom. I truly believe that the freedom to live the life we want to live every single day is our birth right.

For me, this freedom manifests itself as travelling the world and eating the most beautiful foods available. This is why you will soon see posts on how I travel on a budget, where I’m going, and lessons that the planet is teaching me along the way.

I’ve been extremely blessed in the short amount of time I’ve spent here on Earth. I’ve sipped wine in Florence with the man I love, been surrounded by elephants on safari in South Africa, got a sunburn on the white sand beaches of Monterey, sailed the Baltic Sea with a can of warm Danish beer in hand, and soaked my feet in the Big Sur river while eating a super burrito – all the while meeting some amazing people along my way.

These were the moments when I felt most alive – when I was exploring this planet with eyes wide open, ready to take in everything she has to offer and teach.
